Sustainable future through art

We partnered with Microsoft and Best Buy to transform a national teen art challenge into more than just a competition—it became a launchpad for long-term creative and career development. Recognizing the potential to use this platform as a skilling opportunity, we brought in our nonprofit partner Yeah Art, who led mentoring workshops with participating teens. These sessions provided hands-on guidance, creative feedback, and real conversations about the pathways from art and design into technology and career opportunities.
While only one student was ultimately named the winner, every participant gained valuable exposure to professional mentors, career awareness in the creative tech space, and a sense of possibility that extends far beyond the contest itself. Together, Microsoft, Best Buy, and Yeah Art helped ensure this program was not just a single moment of recognition, but the beginning of a longer journey in developing the next generation of diverse creators and innovators.
